Michael is a civil trial lawyer and litigator. He handles cases involving three areas of law, but is available to consult and refer in other areas. The three areas are:
- Injury and Death Claims
These claims arise from:
- automobile/motorcycle/bicycle accidents
- falls or injuries at commercial premises
- medical malpractice
- construction site accidents
- defective machines/tools/products
- Insurance Claims
- claims against another person’s liability insurance for harm caused you
- claims against your own insurance company. If your company does not pay your claim when it reasonably should under the terms of the policy and the facts, you have a claim not only for breach of contract but also for the tort of “insurance bad faith.” These claims can arise from all types of insurance, such as automobile, life, disability, home-owners, and health.
- Disputes and Litigation Involving Probate, Trusts, Estates, and Fiduciaries
Most estate planning attorneys are not litigators. Michael handles litigation involving estates and trusts, and involving trustees, conservators, or other fiduciaries who have not handled matters properly.
Philosophy of Practice
Michael is a sole practitioner. He is the only attorney who would work on your case. Because he wants enough time and resources to handle each case well, he limits the number of cases he takes. He represents clients with absolute integrity and honesty. He believes it is important to take enough time with clients to explain every aspect of a case and answer questions. Service is personal and prompt.
